From Here to the Moon!

I like to write but I'm not a professional writer. I had to do some essays for a writing class so I decided to put them up here where people can read them. I hope you like the essays.

It's not easy to pick a topic to write about. You sort of draw a blank when you're sitting there in front of the computer. I have this keyboard waiting for me to type and I cannot type anything.

It might take me five hours to write an essay. I hope that some day I can get to the point where I write an essay in less than an hour. Maybe then I'll make some money at writing.

As I practice writing I get better at picking topics and putting together words you'll enjoy reading. For me this has been a great experience because I really enjoy writing. As an aspiring writer I hope to publish a book one day.

Meanwhile I have been writing for the Web and doing some pretty interesting projects. You might not recognize any of my work but it is out there, being read by people. I like to think of my words as the grease that keeps the Web rolling.

When I have picked up some more experience I will start applying for full-time writing jobs. I think that would be more fun than what I have to do for a living now.
